[SoCoSA notifications and reminders, primarily of events]

Hey everybody, a few announcements.

First, the meeting details:
  Topic:   Demystifying Data Recovery
  Speaker: Mark Baird from DriveSavers, Inc.

  Your organization's data is one of its most important assets. How you
  protect it and what you do if something happens to it are issues of
  critical importance. Mark will take a look at the value of your data as
  well as the various backup techniques you can use to protect it. Mark will
  also discuss the most common causes of data loss and give you some
  suggestions you can use to avoid them. If disaster has struck and you have
  lost access to your critical files, and your backups have also failed or
  are incomplete, Mark will discuss what options you have and how
  professional data recovery companies go about restoring data.

Second: IRC
  After some discussion, we've decided to change IRC servers to freenode;
  the same server used for NBLUG's IRC channel and for a large number of
  other projects.

  Originally we'd decided to use the same IRC servers as other major
  sysadmin organizations (LOPSA and SAGE), but it looks like at least one of
  those is moving to freenode and we think that freenode may help get more
  people using the channel.

Finally, a reminder:
  No January meeting.
  We're working on something for February, but nothing's finalized yet.
