This meeting of SoCoSA will cover beginner’s Asterisk, from choosing how 
to run asterisk and initial configuration to setting up your first 
custom dial plan. This will be a crash course on the terminology of 
Asterisk, what you can do with it, and how you can go about doing it.

This seems to have had a lot of interest in the past, and Trevor's fresh 
back from the Asterisk asterisk training and certification.  He passed 
his DCAP (Digium Certified Asterisk Professional) exam last week, so 
you'll get a very fresh take on the current status of the Asterisk 
ecosystem, and a whirlwind tour of what you should know, what you can 
do, and how to configure a simple asterisk system.
