JBuilder License Unacceptable? Java development on Linux?

I don't see any way they could enforce a claim on source code that
didn't include ANY of their source code, but if you planned on writing a
Java compiler or IDE, you might want to set up a cleanroom or some other
scheme to be document that you didn't just copy their code.  I think
they might have been trying merely to prevent someone from re-packaging
their code as a commercial product, but garbled up the wording (public
licenses are tricky, especially for compilers).

I don't like IDEs, so I've been happy with kaffe (and the pizza
compiler)
