We are also looking for a part time person for Linux at New Horizons
Santa Rosa. Teaching skill, more than certification is the important
criteria. Knowing the subject matter is very important, but being able
to communicate your knowledge fluently, easily, is more important. If
you are qualified, please contact me.

Subject: [NBLUG TALK] fwd: Part-Time IT Instructor Positions Available
in San Rafael

Hello all. While I'm sure you all know I'm not much for SPAM, from time
to
time I get requests to post jobs to the users. I tend to limit what I
forward on to you all pretty well.

Here's an interesting opportunity for folks looking to do some part-time
work teaching Linux at a college.

Good Morning,

I am the IT Program Manager overseeing technical certification training
at Dominican University in San Rafael (www.dominican.edu). This is a
new
program and we are seeking qualified IT professionals to work
part-time/evenings/weekends as instructors teaching A+, Net+, CIW,
Win2000,
SQL Server, Linux/Unix and CISCO. We do not require MCSE or MCT
certifications, but we do require MCP status or vendor certifications
appropriate to the courses being taught, industry experience, and a
Masters
degree. Do you have a job opportunity board connected with your site?
How
would I post a job on that job board? Is there any way this
announcement
could be forwarded to your membership? Or perhaps you know someone who
might be interested? Candidates should forward their resumes to my
email
address. They can also check our job board at Dominican University
(www.Dominican.edu).

Thanks for your help.

Sandra M. Lock
