[NBLUG TALK] Positions listings...

* Show me the money!

More seriously, I talked with my boss and he said we would pay $50/hour
for a knowledgeable Linux instructor. So - part time, say 4 hours per
night (~5:30 to 9:30) times 5 nights - would be $1000/week part time. I
think this is an excellent opportunity for someone to establish their
position as a Linux Leader in our community. This is a high visibility
job. The world needs Linux, more specifically Sonoma County needs it,
and someone needs to step-up to the plate here. Realize also that
everything is negotiable. Please, if you're interested and qualified
contact me.

I think including Linux related job offers on this list is great!

One complaint: Show me the money!

Inclusion of salary/pay information is a good idea. It saves both the HR
and the applicant from wasting their time.

(joke)

"We want a person with 20 Year experience with HTML, and at least 5
working years experience with assembly on Merced, a PhD in Bioinfomatics
and post grad research work on using DNA Polymerase to store and
retreive
computer data in double helix molecules.

The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of quantum
mechanics, and have succeeded at achieving absolute zero while
maintaining
a cold fusion reaction in process. (kind of tricky, no? ]:>

By the way, we start pay at $7.33/hour and we offer free parking spots 2

miles away from the building."

Heh :-)

Yeah, so I went to extremes, but the point is still there. Inclusion of
salary will help you to get people to apply if you are paying fair
market
wages. Not including salary often means the HR dept is just trolling for
people in case they have a job in the future. :-/
