Partitions, MBR, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I won't be using Mandrake for now.
First will be a RH Beta, then Debian, then ???
The final system will only have one FAT partition, and perhaps none.
Hopefully the first Linux partition would protect the FAT partition
from the bug you encountered.
