Thanks. Eric for the advice. Now I just gotta find a floppy that can 
boot this dog. I wonder if my old Partition Magic disks will work. I'll 
keep you posted.

So, how did lilo survive a reformat? Is the MBR left alone, and, if it 
is, why didn't the dual boot window appear?
