If they have the files necessary for an FTP install on iSeries, they should 
also have a boot disk for iSeries.  It looks like if your iSeries has a 
floppy drive that you can boot from, you can burn bootdisk.img and 
drvnet.img to floppy disks and go from there.  Unless, of course, the disks 
for iSeries are set up differently from the disks for i386...

Of course, this assumes that your iSeries has a recognizable network card 
and a floppy drive that you can boot from, and that you can connect to the 
Internet without doing anything weird like PPPoE on the network card.  I'm 
not at all familiar with the iSeries, so I can't help you there.
