It's temporary.

Run (as root) "ntsysv", arrow to the "iptables" entry, hit space to uncheck
it, then tab to "Ok" and hit the enter key.  (Or use chkconfig directly;
"chkconfig iptables off".  I mentioned ntsysv because it has the added
feature of listing what else you're starting up at boot time)

Probably better to adjust your firewalling to be correct and turn that back
on, though...  firewalling is, really, a good thing.
