I would check out freshrpms.net for the imlib stuff.

I have both on my Red Hat 8 box.
imlib2-1.0.6-fr2
imlib-1.9.13-9

 locate libImlib
/usr/lib/libImlib.so.11
/usr/lib/libImlib.so.11.0.0
/usr/lib/libImlib.a
/usr/lib/libImlib.so
/usr/lib/libImlib2.so.1
/usr/lib/libImlib2.so.1.0.4
