If you are on a fixed and or low income, there are fee waivers. A
friend of mine was able to take 9 units this semester thanks to the
fee waivers. And he is on state disability.. So he doesn't pull in
much when it comes to income.

I was signed up for the course and dropped it at the last minute. The
increased cost was an issue (Fixed income) though it is still a
bargain. I would have continued if it had been online. I did
"Introduction to Unix" last semester online which worked very well for
me.

That's too bad, it may have been a go if a bunch of folks had not
jumped off the boat at the last minute. I think it was up to 12 at one
point. This put a big dent in the future for Linux Admin courses at
SRJC. I am teaching a combined Linux Admin 1 and Linux Admin 2 course
so students that have stuck with it can finish the Linux Cert without
being left hung out to dry. Take a look at SRJC's course offerings for
ANY computer operating systems this semester..... I think you will
find only 1... Linux/UNIX. Hmmmmm On Wednesday 18 August 2004 12:16,
