first, i'd like to thank everyone who has pledged. we've received $400 in
pledges!! i must admit i'm shocked at how generous everyone has been in

update that page as we receive donations and other information regarding
Instructions on Sending NBLUG Your Donation
we have three methods which you can use to send us your pledge. please
feel free to use which ever method you feel most comfortable with. keep
in mind, if you use the paypal method, paypal takes a small portion of the
money in transaction fees.
* postal mail check - send your check (with your donor ID in the memo
field), made out to "Dustin Mollo" (that's me - NBLUG does not have it's
own bank account at this time), to our PO box:

* check or cash donation at the next meeting - our next general meeting is
on the 14th of december. you may give me your check (made out to "Dustin
Mollo" and your donor ID in the memo field) or cash to me at that time.
* paypal - you may send your donation to "treasurer at nblug.org" via a
paypal account. please place your donor ID in either the subject or the
note field. i believe we've got it restricted to U.S. dollar amounts only
at this time.
as i receive donations, i will update the pledge page wtih the information.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT HOW YOUR MONEY WILL BE USED/SPENT/RETAINED:
since we have received more in pledges than we have asked for (and
technically more than we need), the board has decided that we will refund
any money above and beyond what we need for the hard disk purchase if a
donor so requests. if, however, a donor does not specify, the money will
be kept by NBLUG in it's general fund account.
if you request a refund, you will receive back a percentage of your
original donation based on how much money we take in beyond what we need.
for example. if we get twice as much money as we need and you donated
$20, you will receive 50% of your money back, or $10.
any money we don't spend and don't refund will be put into a savings
account and regular reports will be provided to the NBLUG community via
the NBLUG board.
if anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact myself or any
other board member (for those wondering who current elected officers are,
please see: http://nblug.org/membership/.) when contacting us, please use
your donor ID number in any communications so we can track things.
