I think you are probably out of luck as far as an easy and direct solution.

I recommend contacting FileNet and seeing what they have to say; they
may have a Java implementation of their application that you can use. If
nothing else at least you will increase the counter for such a solution by
one. :)

Your next step would be to find an application on Linux that you do like
for this task and see if you can convert your current *.ipt data into a form
that this new application can understand. It could be that someone has
already done this, or that there is some CPAN modules that can help you
out.

What is it exactly that you would like to do? Just fill out forms more easily?
Work directly with the data in the *.ipt format? Or maybe both?
