Ian,

You may be in luck. SRJC is offering "Introduction to Linux System Administration" in the upcoming spring semester. It is CIS 50.75 class # 6852. It will be taught Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. This course is considered the sequel to the other intro class you already took.

Check out their website for course details. [1]http://www.santarosa.edu

Subject: [NBLUG/talk] Unix/Linux class

A year or so ago I took a class "Introduction to Unix" at SRJC. Does anyone know of a follow up class or equivalent at SRJC or elsewhere locally. Can you suggest a text book that would be appropriate for a more advanced class on Unix/Linux/
  Thanks, Ian
