Webcams are picky on Linux. It depends on the hardware inside. These are
supported nicely on Dapper. http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html
I've used spca5xx based webcams from Walmart which were really cheap,
but worked. I forget the brand though. Try overstock.com or target etc.
as well. Happy hunting.
