Hey NBLUGers.

Thought some of you might be interested in this week's SoCoSA meeting.  You
don't need to be a sysadmin to come, just interested in the topic; our group
welcomes everybody.

  Topic:   Demystifying Data Recovery
  Speaker: Mark Baird from DriveSavers, Inc.
  Day:     Tuesday, December 4th.

  Your organization's data is one of its most important assets. How you
  protect it and what you do if something happens to it are issues of
  critical importance. Mark will take a look at the value of your data as
  well as the various backup techniques you can use to protect it. Mark will
  also discuss the most common causes of data loss and give you some
  suggestions you can use to avoid them. If disaster has struck and you have
  lost access to your critical files, and your backups have also failed or
  are incomplete, Mark will discuss what options you have and how
  professional data recovery companies go about restoring data.
