[NBLUG/talk] Can't boot from Hard Drive

This is probably not the problem, but as I recall, many of the Dell
Dimensions operate funky with IDE if the drive isn't set to cable
select.  I'm sure you know also, that the end of the cable is master. 
Hopefully that helps..
