[NBLUG/talk] Kernel Errors on Fedora 8

What version of gspca do you have installed? My reading seems to point
to a problem with either an older version of gspca or a driver
problem. I saw a recent post
(http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Fedora/2007-10/msg01969.html)
stating that v1 isn't included in the standard repositories, but you
can get it here as an RPM: http://atrpms.net/dist/f8/gspca/

Also, what make/model is your webcam? I didn't see that information in
your other posts, and it would help in pointing you to exactly what
package/driver you need.

If for whatever reason your camera isn't spca but is trying to use it
anyway (see this cart for what device uses what driver:
http://www.quickcamteam.net/hcl/linux/logitech-webcams), then you'll
probably need the uvcvideo driver, for which I could only find the
source, so you'll have to compile it:
