No, I was just running the 2.4 kernel. I have actually been busy on 
other projects, but have to return to this. The proper solution would be 
reinstall from scratch, but I think I can probably do a install on a 
another drive and then copy over key files. But it could end up taking 
longer than just doing a re-install. I just remember that some of the 
voice program components were very tricky to get installed and working 
together properly, so I'd rather just leave them working and repair the OS.
