Or ... if you are absolutely sure that you have the dependencies that you
need, and you are using rpm itself as the installer, you can specify
"--nodeps" to the rpm -i command...

It's not a good idea to get in the habit of using --nodeps, but it's there
if you need it.  But be careful -- it's a very sharp tool, you should try
installing the dependency first. :)
