Or why not 8 if you don't want to go to 9 right away?  Maybe just because it
would take a long time to download, but I'd upgrade.

For your specific question, it's been too long to remember for sure but I
think I ran into the same problem by downloading the wrong image somehow.  I
wish I could remember details.
