[NBLUG/talk] EEE PC and EEEBuntu Hibernate...

I used to use EEEbuntu on my 701.. I believe it doesn't turn the swap 
partition on by default because of the SSD and fears of wasting its life 
swapping in and out. You might just need to have the swap partition 
activate upon bootup, or maybe create a script to activate it whenever 
you call hibernation.

I'm running normal Ubuntu on my EEE now (the ibex) and I found it easy 
to get all the hardware working. I don't see much of a need for EEEbuntu 
anymore. Just mho though.
