My deck does not support playlists.

I did find a Windows freeware called DriveSort that was written for
people with players like mine. Evidently it's not just car stereos, lots
of (mostly cheap) mp3 players play in the order they are written to.

I tried it, and it did the job to my 4GB USB thumb drive in about a half
second. I guess the actual order on the disk doesn't matter, just the
order of the songs as listed in the FAT.

Anyway, it works fine. I'll probably find a Linux version someday but
for now I'm rolling. And rockin' :)
