First, close Firefox. Open your home folder (Places -> Home). Make<br>
hidden files visible (View -> Show Hidden Files).<br>

Open the .mozilla folder, then the firefox folder inside of that.<br>
Inside that folder should be your user profile--it will be a folder<br>
named something random ending with ".default". Open that.<br>
<br>
In here, there should be a file named persdict.dat. If you want to<br>
preserve your existing custom dictionary entries, you could edit this<br>
file. Otherwise, just delete it. :-)<br>
<br>
Start Firefox again (and maybe turn "show hidden files" back off) and<br>
you should be good to go.<br>
<br>
Incidentally, if you ever really screw up Firefox, you can just delete<br>
your entire profile folder to reset your settings. This will delete<br>
all your bookmarks, though, so be careful.<br>
