position for an Oracle Application Engineer with On-Demand exp. in
San Francisco, CA<br>

serif"><font style="font-size: 11pt;" size="3">This role
serves as the technical lead for ERP
systems for both Client*s project teams as well as Client*s
functional, technical, and operational teams. <br>
<br>
* Serves at
technical lead for all ERP application or database projects
for
internal Client*s technical teams and as a technical
point-of-contact
for Oracle Support and Oracle On Demand. <br>
* Manages hands-on
Oracle system changes (BCR etc) including schedule backup,
refresh,
patching, maintenance etc.; and Alerts, Control record
changes, Build
objects in the database, and calendar updates. <br>
* Serves as key
technical resource in designing new interfaces/extensions,
and
interacts with and external vendors for inbound/outbound
interface
file exchange. <br>
* Serves as key technical resource between
Client*s IS/Business and Oracle Support and Oracle On Demand
for
Service Requests and problem resolution. <br>
* Coordinates with
business on Systems and security access including
application support
for Technical support and user access to the applications <br>
*
Coordinates with Tech Ops team to ensure all Oracle
interfaces with
vendors are configured, tested and working properly. <br>
*
Coordinates with network on connectivity and backups <br>
* Supports
the scheduling of backups/Refresh/patching/maintenance etc.
<br>
*
Supports Information Security on compliance, audits, and
security
initiatives. <br>
<br>
Skills Needed: <br>
* Proficient knowledge of
Oracle general ledger, payables, fixed asset, cash
Management, Human
resource, Payroll, OTL, Self service, Advance Benefits <br>
*
Proficient in PL/SQL, Forms, java, AOL tools & FND
objects,
Discoverer, OA Framework, Job scheduling, SFTP process,
networking,
Desktop support, OOD supported power user <br>
* Proficient knowledge
of Oracle database, TOAD, SQL Navigator and other design
tools <br>
*
Proficient knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Business Services
and
Oracle On Demand. <br>
* Knowledge and ability to design new
interface/extensions in future <br>
* Working knowledge and
understanding of File Transfer protocols <br>
* Ability to understand
Client*s technical data model & all business flows. <br>
