vi and ispell

It's sometimes hard to tell when a .cshrc, .login, .bashrc or .bash_profile
will be invoked.  I'm sure it's deterministic, but I can never remember
when.  My guess is the on HP/UX, it's in your .profile, but on Linux it's 
in your .bashrc, or some combination like that.
