3-com has an offer of an MCIA plugin for portables, combined 
modem&ethernet, $100 introductory price (3cfem65c): does anyone know 
if Linux drivers are available for it? Seems to be Windows-oriented.
Any chance that at some future meeting someone could talk about 
compatibility between Linux products?  How to install an X product 
into a Y variant?
