No, it won't kill your PnP bios.  I'm using Evergreens with (gasp, choke)
Windoze 98, and they work fine.  Same with NT.  You should try to find out
what sort of motherboard you have, though, because there might be a
compatiblity issue.  Check Evergreen's web site for details
(www.evertech.com).
