Flash 5 for Linux released

Howdy boys and girls,

Macromedia has seen the light and finally released the Flash 5 Netscape plugin for linux -- now you can view all that content you've been missing.  The freshmeat page is:

The direct download is:

  http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&P2_Platform=Linux&P3_Browser_Version=Netscape4

You can also just nab the thing from the NBLUG website:

  http://www.nblug.org/files/misc/flash/flash_linux_5.0r45.tar.gz

Ungziptar the tarball, chmod +x {*.so,*.class}, and cp *.so *.class to /usr/lib/netscape/plugins/ (RedHat RPMs - adjust as necessary for other distros).  Restart netscape and check Help|About Plugins and it'll be there.
