Enterprise DNS change

the problem there is changing dns settings on the entire internal
enterprise. We will be running parallel external DNS for a while, but
internally it looks like it is going to have to cut cold turkey.
as for mail, we are able to do some things at the pmdf server during
transition.

I would imagine that running parallel DNS for a while (if the change is
mostly the domain name) would not be too much of a challenge, maybe running
your old domain off records that are transcribed automatically from the new
records for a while.
Probably issues with receiving and routing mail could be a stickier worry
for me.
