orignially i was thinking of having a linux gateway and a router in between
my LAN, and the rest of the world. but then i started reading the specs for
my router (linksys 4port), and i saw that it did everything i was expecting
the linux gateway to do. ie. filtering, logging, and port forwarding.
so now im thinking a linux gateway on top of a hardware router is gonna be
pointless. are there bennefits to this kind of redundancy or should i just
stick with just the router?
