lpd problems

Hmmmmmm,

Run the command as root;

service lpd restart

Then try to print.

What type of printer queue are you using? lpd QUEUE - LOCAL /dev/lp0  or
is it a printer attached to another machine.  I assume it is not
JetDirect.
