Volunteering assistance - followup

I deleted the reply I received regarding training for new  Linux users the 
other day as just so much unwanted SPAM, but it gave me second thoughts.  
I'm not sure a solicitation for an agency that does Linux training was an 
appropriate posting.  The emphasis of this group seems to be  along the 
free help for  members of the community line.  Am I off base here?
