Often there are funny messages left in man pages. Some are funny by
themself. Some are funny out of context. Check this out from dhcpd (latest
stable rc11) man page.

The  server currently  does very  little  sanity checking,
so if  you configure it wrong, it will just  fail  in  odd
ways.   I  would  recommend  therefore  that you either do
failover or don't do failover...

Well, the humor in that is obvious when you consider an an item ORed with
its complement is a complete set of everything and is true. :-)
