There is no /etc/dhcpd.conf by default when you install. Find a sample in
/usr/share/doc/dhcp-3.0pl1/dhcpd.conf.sample
The man pages are good for dhcpd.conf and dhcpd
man -t dhcpd.conf | lpr and have a read.....
