[NBLUG/talk] File system error on boot up

I have a second drive that is not being used and apparently my effort to 
partition and format it did something nasty.  Now when I reboot, I get 
an error, "File system check produced an error" or something along that 
line.  I am then dropped to the Shell and after typing in the root 
password, I get the following prompt:

(Repair file system) 1 #

I would like to take the drive out of the boot up process, but I do not 
know what I should do with the above prompt.
