Configuing WinModem for RH8.0

I have installed RH 8.0 on my Dell OptiPlex GX240
Windoze reports it as Conexant HCF V90 56K Data Fax PCI Modem on Com3 in PCI slot 2, Bus 2 ,Device 8 ,function 0
The Linux file /proc/pci shows  the same information 

Attempts to install the modem are not successful; the tldt.org /HOWTOs suggest I need a driver. Can someone point me to the correct one?
