thanks for the response!
I looked into /lib/modules/2.4.19-16mdk/kernel/drivers/net/ but did not see a
module 8139rt listed. There is a 8139cp and 8139too,
I have a gateway server running that provides dhcp services.
When I run sbin/ifconfig I'm not seeing any inet, bcast, or mask addresses, as I
see when I run /sbin/ifconfig on my gateway server.
It does, however, say it's UP.
I'm still baffled by this. I checked netconf, and it has loaded the 8139too
module. It's still failing to bring up the eth0 and eth1 when I reboot.
I'm wondering if there's an issue with my gateway server dhcp services? Or is it
still my eth0 module?
Any other ideas? Or if not, can someone point me to a concise howto?
Thanks,
Jeff
