This happened to me on a server at work last week.  We spent 20 minutes in 
a panic trying to solve 12 really weird problems that all cropped up a the 
same time.  Database backups had filled the bucket right up!

So, in the next week I'm hope to write a croned Perl script of some sort 
that will parse the output of df and BONK me on the head at 95%.  I'll pass 
it on if I get it working.
