Thanks Bill. :-)

Yes, I asked him in the early messages to post more about Linux than off
topic and also to use OT in the subject fo Off Topic comments. Though he
did use OT, he did not decrease the volume of OT. :-(

Yeah, you guys have a great list. (As you know I am subscribed to your
lists at LUGOD too. Man, that Mike Simmons is well informed.)

Feel free to "butt in" as I respect your opinion. You and Pete and the
other LUGOD members have worked hard to make a successful LUG.

This idea (above) has been discussed a few times at our board meetings.
Such a 3rd list I think would be welcomed by users, but we are not so
certain we have enough people to make the cost in time and energy to
maintain another list, have this be worth it. We continue to review it,
and expect to more strongly consider it as the list becomes more active.

We are trying to make our LUG as inviting as yours... You see our new web
site? :-D We have much more to do though.

Not rambling at all. You guys have a very well organized LUG. 2 Meetings
per month, an installfest every month or two, Linux day events, Linux
Demos, a LERT, 5 mailing lists, etc. jobs,outreach,vox,announce,vox-tech
and perhaps other lists I dont know about.

When I go to Grad school, Davis is on the short list partly because of
LUGOD and the poeple from LUGOD that I know. I think Brad is out there
too...

Thanks Bill,
