i've been pretty disapointed with mandrake 9.1 on my laptop. i've had
annoying problems with the apmd (which i think is called something
different now), such as not comming out of sleep, or messing the video
up sometimes when it does come out. also PCMCIA support seems to have
been hosed a bit, ejecting a card will sometimes cause a complete system
lock.

all these things worked fine in 9.0, but 9.1 seems to be a bit buggy.
your results may vary though.
