Found the command line tool for wlan-ng.....
wlancfg wlan0 set
dot11DesiredSSID=YOURID
^D
DONE....
check out
wlancfg wlan0 list for more options.
I have compiled hostap, loaded the modules with my pcmcia services and played
with it but have not got it to work with my AP yet with encryption. I think
I need an opts file to tweak on.
