I have a Zaurus as well, a nice Christmas present.

So you were able to get two way communication with the Zaurus over USB?
Or are you going the wireless route. I have yet to go the wireless
route, and because of which my Zaurus is some what useless to me. I am
planning on getting some wireless stuff for it, but it's more a luxury
than a necessity. Really if the Zaurus was wireless all I could do is
surf and talk to my machines while I am on the toilet. That's the only
place it's not comfortable to have my laptop with me.
Now what I do want to get is the wireless modem and wireless service
from Verizon. So I can have ISDN speeds 128kbps-156kbps any where there
is digital cellular service. So if I am at the beach, club, or meeting,
I can reach my servers and network if need be. Or if I need to surf or
send an email I can. So that is more lucrative to me than wireless
around the office.

My 2 cents on the syncing with QTDesktop. It's doesn't work, so do not
waste your time.
I have had the Zaurus perfectly networked, but the damn qtdesktop would
not see it or sync with it.
About the best use I have found for the desktop is the get it to add
some headers or something to a directory on my web server that allows me
to see and pull packages off the web server from my Zaurus.
I tried just putting the files there and pointing the Zaurus to that dir
but no go. So the QTDesktop did help out there, but that's the only use
I have for it so far.

Not surprised.

You are not alone.

Forget about it. I would like to use the perl script that someone wrote
to sync the Zaurus with Evolution. I am not sure if it's any good, or
even works, but I like the theory.

Also if you need some further Zaurus links I have a few I could post or
email you.
Good luck, and please let me know if you every get the QTDesktop to
sync.
