[NBLUG/talk] 2.6 kernel Red Hat module madness

I have been building and testing a few 2.6 kernels on my laptop and have noted 
in the docs differences in module loading and installed the 
module-init-tools.  But I have not edited my stock rc.sysinit script.

My kernels run fine except for the module issues.

Has anyone using Red Hat actually gotten the new module loader to work by 
patching their rc.sysinit script or other hacks?
