[NBLUG/talk] Toshiba notebook and Knoppix

I tried the Knoppix version on my desktop and that is really cool!  But 
maybe I am so caught up in the fact that it was/is so easy to run and 
the features appear to satisfy what so many people do with their 
computers (email and write letters) that I am overlooking something.

Would that take care of the needs of many students?  And it appears that 
one can't break it - just reinstall from the CD and voila, everything is 
fixed!  Am I missing something here?

Is there a photo editing application available like Photoshop?
