Brief Description:
Amy’s Kitchen, a leading vegetarian food manufacturer based in Santa Rosa,
is seeking an experienced administrator to participate in the
implementation, maintenance and support of our information technology
infrastructure.

General Responsibilities:
Administers and maintains servers, desktops, routers, switches, firewalls,
printers, data and voice network lines and phone systems. Provides
helpdesk support, including desktop hardware & software troubleshooting,
maintenance, and user training. Implements and maintains various other
software, hardware and documentation.

General Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience administering Microsoft Windows systems. At
least 2 years of experience administering Linux and Novell systems.
Experience with NDS/eDirectory. Knowledge of Samba and NFS. Working
knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, FTP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP, LDAP, and SSH.
Working knowledge of at least one scripting language. Basic knowledge of
MS SQL and/or MySQL database administration.  Hands-on experience with
networking hardware such as routers, hubs, and switches.  In-depth
knowledge of TCP/IP, IPX, and Ethernet protocols.  Working knowledge of
firewalls, network security concepts, and VPN-related technologies. 
Ability to install and troubleshoot communications cabling. Ability to
create basic web pages and XML files.


Position is full-time, in Santa Rosa, CA.
Expected salary range is $40-50k, DOE.
