[NBLUG/talk] Floppy disk is inactive.

I unknowingly made /dev/fdo inactive. If that makes any sense.

fstab shows;

/dev/fd0                /mnt/floppy             auto   
noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0

On boot ; unexpected file type for fd0.
