Odd, is this a 802.11b or 802.11g card? In my experience Knoppix typically
configures (particularly older) Linksys 802.11b cards (or other
prism2-based cards) just fine out of box, and if you need to configure the
card for WEP that Wavelan tool under Kmenu->Knoppix->Network/Internet
should be able to help you.

Yes, open a terminal and type "sudo knoppix-installer" to launch the
installation script.
