That *is* a floppy port, but you really, *really* do NOT want to
hook those floppies up to it. See the first "Caution" near the
bottom of this page:

You can't install linux on the SE anyway. Its processor is a
68000, which isn't supported. Sorry. It could still be useful
running an old Mac OS, though. Or, if you want to kill a
perfectly good machine, you could turn it into a Macquarium (link
on the above page).

PS: Oh, by the way, I sent one of the first replies to your
original post yesterday AM, but it seems to have gotten lost
somewhere. Can't blame SoftHome this time, though; my outgoing
messages go through Earthlink's SMTP server. If it happens to
show up some time in the future, just ignore it.
