Since my problem is that I occassionally hit the key combination
shift+backspace, I needed to disable that particular combination.
I did some googling and found 2 suggestions. The first was to go to
the SuSE Control Centre and edit the keyboard shortcuts.
Unfortunately, 'shift+backspace' or 'Kill X' (or somesuch) wasn't listed.
The second suggestion was to edit /etc/X11/XF86Config directly, adding
the following line in the "ServerFlags" section:
Option "DontZap" "Yes"
That solved the problem for me. The only apparant drawback is that I
won't be able shut X off from the keyboard, but I figure that's ok,
since I've never done that in the few years I've been using linux (at
least not on purpose!).
